Our welcome information has been put together to make things easier for you when you move to Argyll and Bute

Welcome to Argyll and Bute

From Helensburgh in the East, to Coll and Tiree in the West, if asked to sum up Argyll and Bute in three words, we’d say beautiful, successful, and welcoming!

Sitting on the West coast of Scotland, our landscape brings together beaches, waves, and clear blue ocean, with forest walks, mountain climbs, and island views. Argyll and Bute is both wild and accessible and offers endless adventures.

What matters most, is the welcome you’ll get in our communities. Whether you have opted for an island, a village, or one of our towns, you’ll be made to feel like you belong. In Argyll and Bute you matter and can make a difference.

Tha fàilte chridheil a’ feitheamh oirbh!

A warm welcome awaits!
